American made centerfire bolt-action rifle chambered for .223 Remington, and manufactured in Westfield, MA. Rifle features a gloss blued finish, a 22" free-floated tapered barrel, receiver drilled and tapped for optic mounting, turned down bolt handle with a checkered knob, 4+1 total capacity, no provisions for iron sights, two-lug bolt with jeweled bolt body, blind magazine, serrated sliding three-position tang safety, adjustable smooth single-stage Accu-Trigger with integral blade safety, and installed scope rail sections on the receiver. The black synthetic furniture consists of a semi-pistol grip shoulder stock with checkering at the wrist, checkered black plastic grip cap with silver Savage trademark, checkered forend with sling stud, sling stud on the bottom of the shoulder stock, and a solid black foam recoil pad. Rifle retains approximately 98% of its original blued finish with some edge wear at the muzzle, and superficial blemishes. Metal displays no rust or deformation. The action is smooth and crisp, and the bore is bright with strong rifling. The polymer furniture is good with scattered scratches, general handling wear, and blemishes. Rifle has a Leupold VX-2 3-9x40mm scope with a duplex reticle, and incorporates bullet drop compensation marks. The condition of the scope is very good with light scattered scratches and dings, and it provides a bright and clear sight picture.
